Texas Land & Air strives to ensure that your shipment arrives at is destination damage free. However, in freight transportation damage is sometimes an occurrence. At Texas Land & Air, we are happy to assist you with the hopes to achieve immediate resolution.
Our goal is to investigate and resolve all freight claim matters in a professional, lawful, and equitable manner. We strive to meet or exceed the needs of our customers.
We will help you:
Customer Assistance - Provide informational guidance to customers with loss and damage lading issues.
Claims Assistance– Investigate to determine liability for loss or damage to lading while in care and custody of Texas Land & Air.
Prompt Settlements – Once the investigation is complete, we endeavor to deliver prompt, fair disposition of claims filed.
To File a Claim
- All claims for Loss/Damage/Delay must be filed with Texas Land & Air within three (3) months from delivery.
- In cases of Concealed Damage, Texas Land & Air must be notified in writing within fifteen (15) days of delivery or the claim will likely be declined.
- Please provide a copy of the signed Delivery Receipt, Original Invoice, Invoices for repairs or replacements, and pictures (if available) when filing a claim.
- In no case will Texas Land & Air accept responsibility for Damages above the value of the goods that are the subject of a claim
- Prior to any settlement, all freight charges must be paid in full. Include any applicable freight charges in your claim presentation.
